Suntory Yamazaki Sherry 2016 Single Malt Japanese Whisky 70cl

The Suntory Yamazaki Sherry 2016 Single Malt Whisky uses ex-Olorosso sherry casks for its maturation and follows the last release in 2013. The Yamazaki distillery is located in Shimamoto, first opening in 1923 to become Japan’s first commercial whisky distillery.

Yamazaki Sherry 2016 has a nose of blackberry jam, raisins, cloves and dark chocolate, a palate of sweet and sour cherries, rich tobacco and hazelnut and a long finish.
