Terrimbo is a venture by Jacky Loos and Philippe Gard of the Coume del Mas winery in Collioure in South-West France. “Terrimbo” takes its name from a beautiful beach indentation of the Mediterranean, south of Banyuls and Collioure where the vineyards are situated. The vineyards and winery are run according to organic practices and in the next 2 years will be officially certified organic.
Grape Varieties: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah.
Farming Practices: Practising Organic
Tasting Notes: This red has rounded with age, but retains the classic Collioure structure with deep, dark fruit and linear tannins. Some bramble notes now, and the oak influence is very well integrated. Considerable depth and length.
Awards: Scored 91/100 by The Wine Advocate and 91/100 from Revue des Vins de France.
Sugar Level: 1.0g/l
Closure: Cork
